Gator Jon’s BBQ journey began over 30 years ago in South Florida, where Jon would host the occasional “Pig Pickin'” (Whole Hog Roast) for friends, family, and neighbors. He then began his career in the BBQ industry by inventing and marketing BBQ equipment, tools, grills, and gadgets to help people bring the BBQ experience into their own backyards.

Jon’s passion for BBQ sparked a “you know what would be cool?” idea where he thought “Man, If i could just serve 20/30 customers total that would be awesome!” Little did Jon know that Gator Jon’s would quickly turn into a local favorite. When Jon first opened, It was all about sharing his passion for authentic barbecue, laid-back vibes, and his secret recipes for all to enjoy.

What began as a modest one-man stand, soon turned into an overwhelming family success, with his wife Michelle, son Hunter, and their loyal companion Whisky. People have been lining up for a taste of what has quickly become the best barbecue in town where the food sells out daily.
